i haven't been here in a while, but i have a poem to make up for it

You cannot be seen
I cannot be heard
So why bother uttering
A single word?
Your ominous silence surrounds me,
It's potent enough to kill,
You despise me because I know,
Know the entire truth of it all,
That gave you a false realization
Of giving up your free will,
And then you left,
Left the silence to consume its prey,
But through it all I wonder,
Wonder if there was truly guilt
In the mourning of my tragedy,
And then I also wonder
If you enjoyed my distant fading.
Fading slowly into black, yet
Never fading from your memory

Shadowgate
A chaotic world
On the brink of destruction
A new breed of darkness
From my own resurrection
Nothing really mattered to me
Even when the truth surfaced
Nothing takes the past away
Reliving it has no purpose
As my mind drifts away
It's very clear to me
Nobody wins....there is no end
A short pause prolongs what comes to be
Driven by the fact that I will fade,
It appears my answers
Lie beyond the shadowgate,
I won't return, yet one way or another
There is nothing I regret
Past the gateway, I recover

i like the contests, but i unfortunately was having comp. troubles... =(
